With 5000 acres, mostly open downland and woods, and part of the South Downs National Park, Stanmer is the 'jewel in the crown' of Brighton and Hove. It is loved by walkers, nature enthusiasts, those with an interest in local history and archaeology, cyclists and horse riders, and as a special place for picnics with families and friends.

Stanmer House

Stanmer village is a unique enclosed village with  tearooms, church, donkey wheel, SPS bookstall and  toilets (including disabled-access toilet).
