The Library Chair

The Dressing Chair
This beautiful handmade Dressing Chair seat is 24 inches tall making it easier to put on pants while seated, especially for people with knee problems. It’s always tricky putting a TV in the bedroom, they're not usually designed for such things. But since the flat screen TV became popular, the foot of the bed TV cabinet was a perfect fit. The craftsman style is beautiful solid oak wood, no veneers. Just add a remote controlled TV lift. I’m sure Frank Lloyd Wright would approve. This piece is pure quality. Fireplace Mantle with TV Lift and Fluted Column Accessory add-on # 220. (SOLD)
This is a big colonial style mantle that’s really beautiful. Standing at 5' 1", it makes a huge architectural statement in just about any room, because there isn’t a need for a chimney or functional fireplace. Most homes today don’t even use the fireplaces they have but love the design of a fireplace mantle in the room. So we got rid of the fireplace and added a TV lift that holds up to a 55" flat screen TV, and it's completely hidden when it is in the down position. You can’t have a fire in a fireplace here because it could damage the TV and lift system. The owner can add a “simulated” fireplace insert if they’d like. The owner usually installs a tile hearth to complete the look. A 110 outlet is required, it would work well in the fireplace area with cable wiring if needed. The Fireplace Mantle, and the fluted columns with crown piece are sold separately. The fluted columns with crown piece is tall, (8’ 9”) and can’t fit some rooms because of ceiling height, but they do add a impressive touch to the mantle, making for the drop dead gorgeous focal point in any room. The mantle comes with the fireplace screen and iron bars that are shown, and warming rack. The mantle has small storage compartments built-in behind the mantle side panels. The Stair-Ladder BookCase # 222.
Made from genuine oak stairway parts, and birch paneling this bookcase is unique and handsome at the same time. When you can use the shelves as a step, there’s no need to get a ladder to reach the upper shelves. This bookcase is built super strong and heavy, making it almost impossible to pull it over. I've tested it out, and I weigh 180 lbs. and can climb to the top and not even rock it. With 6 cubby drawers there’s tons of storage, and the drawers aren’t on tracks so they can be pulled all the way out, or pushed it in so you can use the shelf as a step. And its big, 8 foot 1 ½ inches tall, 40 inches wide by 26 inches deep at the bottom. With the angle it’s built on, the shelves are really deep. This is a really beautiful cabinet. Designed originally as a TV cabinet, it still can be if desired. But here we went with the bar for obvious reasons. Why you ask? Because it’s just super-cool, that’s why. It’s very handsome, and a fairly nondescript cabinet that sits quietly in a office or den, until you hit the button and your private bar comes to life, designed to impress it’s a grabber for sure. English Gun Chest # 215
Both gun chests, the English and the Western were designed for the gun enthusiast who doesn’t have or want a large safe. Seeing as most gun owners only own a couple of guns, but still want them secure without a large gun safe. These gun chests offer a lock-able solution with a place to nicely display your guns, and store ammo and cleaning supplies all in one place. The English Gun Chest is made from teak with brass corner guards and a oak base sitting on swivel casters, along with oil resistant imitation emu leather on the top and lining the drawer bottoms it’s one of the most handsome cabinets we’ve ever made. Two drawers are 2 ⅝” deep, and each drawer is 13” X 27 ¾” wide. Open the lid and there is 3 ½” of depth divided into (4), 6 ½” X 14” spaces for 4 handguns (dividers are removable) giving a overall area of 14” X 35 ½”. 1940 RCA Victor Radio Cabinet # 216
Here’s a genuine 1940 RCA radio cabinet, found in pretty rough shape and in need of restoration. This was a great project! The guts were in bad shape, the capacitors, resistors, coils, tubes and speakers were all shot, generally a fire hazard trying to repair the inside workings. All the guts were completely removed and the cabinet itself was restored to its original 1940’s form. After cleaning and refinishing the cabinet, we decided it was a perfect candidate for a TV lift system, so a 24 inch “Vizio” TV and a remote controlled lift were installed. The only thing it needed was a rock’in stereo system. Two 9 inch “Jensen” speakers were installed behind the front grill replacing the old ones. Then a 90 watt “Pyle” bluetooth amplifier was installed that will connect to all of today’s latest devices, and most importantly your smart phone can turn this old radio cabinet into a modern day juke box.
