St. Alban’s Episcopal Church is family. That is its essence.

It is children’s ministries — Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Godly Play, Christmas Pageants.

It is Youth Ministry—big trips, local outings, service projects, pizza, and Youth Sunday.

It is Adult Study — 9:00 AM Sundays, 9:30 AM Mondays (Women’s Bible Study) and 12:00 PM Fridays (Men's Bible Study)

It is fellowship— small at-home dinners, Youth Dinners, Mardi Gras dinner, Lenten Potlucks, coffee hours, Parish Fun Nite, sometimes a volleyball team and occasionally a pickup softball game.

It is
music, traditional and contemporary: parish choir, Young People’s Choir, summer choir, choir cabarets, Lessons and Carols, choir workshops, concerts, parish hall presentations, All Saints’ cantatas and anthems, handbells for youth and adults and evensong services.

It is preaching, biblical and life-related. It is Holy Eucharist, both rites and more (even Blessing of Animals). It can be extremely traditional and very contemporary, all in the same Sunday. It is pastoral care—hospital visits, nursing home calls, home checks by clergy and laity, Stephen Ministry, Community of Hope and a responsive Memorial Receptions Committee.

It is outreach — Primavera meals, Adopt-a-Family donations, Mother’s Day food collections, Hugs by Mail, bread delivery, St. Luke’s Home, a Habitat for Humanity home, and more.

St. Alban’s is ECW, Altar Guild, Acolytes, Ushers, Chalice Bearers, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and intercessors. It is Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Fourth of July and Thanksgiving Day and all they mean. It is daybreak Easter in the courtyard and almost midnight Christmas Eve in the church.                                                                                                   It is prayer—organized chains, Sunday lists and Wednesday healing services. It is preschool and pre-kindergarten, accredited and respected. It is stewardship, cheerful without compulsion, living within budgets but growing ministries and facilities.

It is friendly, where nametags are used increasingly and smiles abound. It is birthday and anniversary prayers. It is a place where people are appreciated and God is worshipped. It is solid, versatile, and healthy. And St. Alban’s welcomes you!
