I started my Show career in 1966, when I handled Staffordshire bull Terriers and Bull Terriers at Shows. I acquired my “MOINDEARG” Prefix and bred and showed Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Bull Terriers, and I also show Jack Russell Terriers. I have been very successful over the years, making up several Champions in Staffordshire Bull Terriers and also Bull Terriers and Jack Russell Terriers and have owned and bred Champions in Ireland, England, Finland, Sweden, Poland and Australia, and had the honour of winning C.C’s (Staffordshire Bull Terriers) at CRUFTS two years in succession plus Group Placing. I have been Chairman of The Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Association, and The All Ireland Bull Terrier Club and I am at present Chairman of Swords & District Canine Society – An ALL BREEDS Championship Show. I am a Life Member of The Irish Kennel Club, and serve as a representative on its Council Committee.

I first judged at CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW level in Ireland in 1979, and over the following years have progressed to judge  “ALL TERRIERS” FCI Group 3, and also Groups 4, 6, & 10 and BEST IN SHOW. I have judged at CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW level with C.C’s, CAC & CACIB’s in the following countries over the last number of years. America, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Hungry, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Siberia (Russia), Spain, St. Petersburg (Russia), South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland.

I have also judged at The World Show & The Interra Show in Budapest in 2013……& Judged Staffordshire Bull Terriers and The Irish Terrier Speciality Show at The “WORLD Terrier Show” in Helsinki in 2014 and many more Specialties during World/European Shows.

Final competitions start after breed judging in ring.


  • All dogs participating the show must be tattoed or micro-chipped!
  • All dogs must have a valid certificate of vaccination against canine distemper, infective hepatitis and parvovirus infection and rabies. EKU vaccination requirements
  • Dogs whose date of birth is 1st August 2013 or later and whose ears have been cropped and/or tails docked may not take part in shows listed in the calendar of Estonian Kennel Union!



Baby class  -  4 – 6 months, Best of Breed Baby will be chosen

Puppy class  -  6 – 9 months, Best of Breed Puppy will be chosen

Junior class  -  9 – 18 months, don’t compete for CAC. Compete for Junior CAC, BOB junior and BOB

Intermediate class  -  15 – 24 months, compete for CAC and BOB

Open class  -   dogs from 15 months, compete for CAC and BOB

Champion class  -  dogs from 15 months, compete for CAC and BOB. Certificate of the title required for registration (must be attached to the entry form)

Veteran class  -   dogs from 8 years, don’t compete for CAC. Compete for Veteran CAC, BOB veteran and BOB

Progeny class  -  3-5 offsprings of a stud dog or brood bitch. All the offsprings must come from at least two different combinatons of stud and bitch and must recieve at least VG (very good) at this show. Best of Breed progeny class will be chosen

Breeders class  -  3-5 dogs of the same breeder. Dogs must come from at least two different combinations of stud and bitch and must recieve at least VG (very good) at this show. Best of Breed breeders class will be chosen

Braces  -  a male and female dog of the same owner who must recieve at least VG (very good) at this show. Best of Breed brace will be choosen
