My name is Marco. I'm a software developer and computer scientist. This is my professional website and portfolio.
Creating things is definitely something that I like to do. Software development fulfills a big part of this desire of mine (check out my personal and professional projects).
I appreciate simplicity. Elegant solutions with clean and readable code, with deeply care about details; abstractions that are easy to use correctly and hard to use incorrectly. That's what I strive to develop.
I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Federal University of Santa Catarina (2011) and a master's degree (2014).
The main subjects of my interest are:
- Computer graphics;
- Physically based animation;
- Real-time rendering;
- Virtual reality;
- Artificial intelligence;
- Software engineering.
Besides that, I have a strong interest in mathematics and physics. I like to read, to go jogging, to play soccer, volleyball and tennis.
