The 4th SSFR Symposium has been held on the

26th March 2018

University of Dundee
Small Lecture Theatre, Medical Science Institute

Guest speakers Dr Craig McKenzie and Jane Officer

We are proud to announce that the 4th SSFR symposium is to be hosted by the University of Dundee in 2018. Once again, this event is a student led event, and this year has been organised by PhD students from both the University of Glasgow and the University of Dundee.

The event will focus on the pioneering forensic research being undertaken by the students of Scotland through a variety of career paths. We will be welcoming both oral and poster presentations within the next few weeks on any and all aspects of Forensic Science and related disciplines and would welcome researchers and students within the field of forensic research from across Scotland to attend.

This will be an all-day event, including a buffet lunch and a wine reception in the evening and promises to be an exciting programme not to be missed. Due to the limited places available it is recommended that registration is completed early to ensure you are guaranteed a place. Registration will be open shortly, and will be accessible via the registration link found in the menu on the left hand side of the page.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded individuals from across Scotland, learn more about the varied work currently being undertaken and potentially forge bonds and collaborations which will continue throughout our professional careers.

We thank you for your time, and hope to see you in March,

Best regards,

The SSFRS Team
