maintained by University of Texas at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School Students
The Student Society of Emergency Medicine is an emergency medicine interest group (EMIG) formed and maintained by medical students at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. We are a nonprofit charitable organization designated to facilitate, enrich and expand the emergency medicine interests of its members by promoting the access to practical skill sessions, emergency departments, and practicing emergency medicine physicians within the community. SSEM works to provide more information about the specialty and equip medical students with the information and resources to become active in the field of Emergency Medicine.
