Welcome to Third Grade With Mary Williams :

This month we will be learning about maps and how to read them. We will learn about Africa in October. Our focus will be Ancient Egypt.
We will have math homework, a fact sheet and a lesson sheet, almost every night. Please use the re-teaching part of the math sheet to help you see what the lesson was about. Please help your child with this homework if you see they are struggling.
Spelling lists are given on Friday, homework is Friday through Wednesday, with our test on Thursday. Science and social studies work is on a more random schedule, as noted in the homework chart below.

Please contact me at anytime this year with questions or concerns. I check my e-mail daily so that is the quickest way to keep in touch. I also hope that each of you will find time to stop by and help in our room this year!
