Track I – Functional:

Align, Review, Reward and Retain using the Performance Management Trifecta! (Performance Appraisals, Compensation Workbench, and Total Compensation Statements) - Lisa Laine, Solution Beacon

In today’s economy, many companies are planning for the recovery by trying to keep employees motivated and performing without adding cost.  Are you leveraging you’re your Oracle eBusiness suite investment by using the "Performance Management Trifecta" which consists of Performance Appraisals, Compensation Workbench, and Total Compensation Statements?  The “Performance Management Trifecta” helps companies align, review, reward performance and then communicate the compensation results to their employees. This session will demonstrate how Oracle’s three 3 pieces of functionality:  performance management plans and appraisals, compensation workbench and total compensation statements work together to help companies align, review, reward and retain employees.  This session walks through the information flow of each functional area as it relates to business strategy and focuses on the touch points.  For Align and Review we will explore the performance management/appraisals functionality.  During the reward section we will highlight the usage compensation workbench and individual compensation distribution to pay for performance.  Then we will communicate the results to the employee via total compensation statements.

Financial Reporting Made Easy - Danny Nguyen, InsightSoftware.com

FSG’s rigid structure and technical interface make it difficult for accountants to easily change the look of their financial reports and ensure their accuracy.  See how InsightSoftware. com offers an FSG/ADI alternative and empowers you to create your own financial reports and ad-hoc inquiries.  Stop relying on your IT staff to help develop your financial reports; start creating them yourself.  Insight’s FSG/ADI alternative enables the user to import existing FSG row sets and then use drag-and-drop technology to create or change reporting lines.  High-quality formatting can be easily applied, and a pack of reports can be deployed at the “click of a button.”  Insight also enables managers to analyze their reports using an interactive console, which provides full transaction drill-down.
