Vidwan Sri Narasimhan

A project management consultant by profession, Sri Narasimhan has studied Vishishtadvaita Vedanta under his revered father, Vedanta Vidvan Dr N S Anantha Rangacharya for several years. He has learnt the Krishna Yajurveda under Veda Sindhu, Veda Cachaspati Sri U. Ve. Rangaraja Chakravarti swamy. He has also passed MA (Sanskrit), MPhil (Vishishtacharya) and Vidvat Madhyama (Vishishtadvaita Vedanta) exams. He sas studied in a traditional manner SriBhashya, Vedanta Deepa, vedartha Sangraha, Adhikarana Saravali, Srimad Rahasyatrayasara, Bhagavadvishaya and other important works under his revered father. Sri Narasimhan has also authored four books in Kannada and gives discourses on Vedanta and related subjects.

Sri Narasimhan has been conferred with the titles ‘Acharyaadesharasika: by Sri Poundarikapuram Swamy HH Sri Sri Gopala Deshika Mahadeshikan and ‘Acharya Seva Dhurandhara:’ by HH Sri Sri Rangapriya Swamy and ‘Vedavisharada’ by Veda Dharma Paripalana Sabha, Malleswaram, Bangalore.

PGDIM, Indian Institute of Science B.E.(Electrical), UVCE, Bangalore University MA (Sanskrit), KSOU, Mysore

Vishishtacharya (MPhil), Karnataka Samskrit University, Bangalore, Vidvanmadhyama in Vishishtadvaita Vedanta, Chamaraja Samskrit College, Bangalore.

Currently pursuing Vidya Varidhi (PhD) at Karnataka Samskrit University, Bangalore

Sri Narasimhan's Accomplishments:

Sri Narasimhan studied siddhanta granthas such as SriBhashya, Vedartha Sangraha, Vedanta Deepa, Vendata Saara, Adhikarana Saravali, Rahasya granthas, Thiruvaimozhi etc. in a traditional way under his revered father, Vedanta Vidvan U Ve Dr N S Anantha Rangacharya. Has done Krishna Yajur Vedaadhyayanam (Asheethi dwayam) under Veda Sindhu, Veda Cachaspati U. Ve. Sri Rangaraja Chakravarti swamy. He has studied some parts of Vyakarana, Tarka and Veda Bhashya under Vidyavachaspati Vidvan Sri Seshachala Sharma.

Sri Narasimhan has authored the following books:

  • Virodha Parihara of Sri Vedanta Desika – Translated into Kannada
  • Abhayapradanasara of Sri Vedanta Desika – Translated into Kannada
  • Sri Gayathri Bhashyam – Tanslated from Sanskrit into Kannada with notes
  • Munivahana Bhoga: - Translation of the manipravala commentary of Sri Vedanta Deshika on Sri Tiruppanalwar’s Amalanadipiran divya prabandha into kannada, with notes.

He conducts classes on Vedantha texts at home and also delivers public lectures on topics related to Vishishtadvaita and Vedas. He has also been delivering Tiruppavai discourses for the past two years.
