I work broadly in the areas of Mathematical Morphology (MM) and Optimization. More specifically, my research interests focus on the development of tools for data analysis using Combinatorial Optimization and Discrete Mathematical Morphology.
Prior to joining the PhD program, I worked as a Business Analyst at Genpact Retail Analytics from 2011-2013. I primarily worked on building statistical models on point of sale data at retail chains to gain insights on stocking and promoting products. I obtained M.Stat. (Mathematical Statistics and Probability specialization) and B.Math. (Hons.) degrees from Indian Statistical Institute in 2011 and 2009 respectively.
