Dear Rifle Members and friends

As we are approaching our planned date for this year's first shooting - let me give you some good news:

We have cleared all bigger and smaller obstacles to receive in replacement of our ageing Swiss army assault rifle Stgw 57, seven brand new assault rifles Stgw 90. The order is placed and we are eagerly awaiting their arrival including new ammunition.  I apologize that this has taken quite a bit of time.

So, I am sorry but I do not think that we can have the Compulsory and Field shooting on 13 March as planned. As we have only a couple of hundred rounds left for the old rifles, we want to wait until the new ones have arrived, and then have to introduce the new rifles to all of you in a training session.

We will inform you as soon as possible how we want to do this during the next couple of months, and on what date we can have this  year's first shooting

I hope you understand.
