Welcome to the Willow Grove Composite Squadron 902 Web site!

The Civil Air Patrol is the volunteer, non-profit auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.  Its three missions are to develop and educate young adults in leadership, aerospace education, and provide training in emergency services.  Our squadron is based at the Horsham Air Guard Station off of Easton Road (Rt. 611) in Horsham, PA.  As a “composite” squadron, we are comprised of both teens (cadets) and adult volunteers (seniors).

We have a very active cadet program that is focused on developing leadership, physical fitness, and character in young men and women in our local community.  Our goal is to prepare our cadets to be successful in whatever career field they choose to pursue and enable them to be active citizens in their local community.

Our cadet program has assisted cadets in accomplishing their goals, many going on to college.  During the past several years, some of our cadet commanders have been awarded “Cadet of the Year,” two of our cadet commanders have achieved CAP’s highest cadet rank, C/Colonel (The “General Carl A. Spaatz Award”), and several of our cadets have been accepted into the military academies.

I encourage you to browse around our Web site and learn more about our program.  The About Us page contains a general summary of the various elements of our cadet program.  The Photos page contains a gallery of photographs of our cadets participating in our many activities.

I also invite you to come visit us and see what we are all about!  I think you will find the Civil Air Patrol to be a personally rewarding experience.
