Background - Relocated to New Zealand 8 years ago from Nigeria, a country where passion for soccer runs through all works of life. Tayo established SoccerTalent New Zealand Limited to design and manage the development of young football players by mastering basic football skills and techniques in a fun and nurturing environment, create opportunity for adequate practising and playing time and encourage learning. His coaching approach is to provide a creative drills and friendly environment for children to systematically develop football skills and technique needed to be a complete footballer.

Played For - 
  • Played for Young Shall Grow FC in 1983 and was coached to play 2 – 3 touch / space football both in training and game time.
  • Played and coached at Upper Hutt Soccer Club in my first 3 years in New Zealand

Qualifications/Experience -
  • Head Coach / Managed WYNRS Wellington. Established and operated the WYNRS Wellington for year 7 and 8 students in the Rongotai College Football Academy for 2010 and 2011 school terms. 
  • Developed the grassroots  and elite program coaching players from 5 to 15 years old at WYNRS’ After School Programme, Holiday Programme, Rongotai College Lunch Academy and Elite Academy.
  • NZF Level 2 Youth Coaching licence.
  • Petone FC Women 1st Team Coach in the 2011 season.
  • Island Bay School’s After School Soccer fun.
  • Organiser of the Upper Hutt Multi Ethnic Football Tournament
Other Stuff - 

Tayo graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Science) from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master degree in Agricultural Economics.
Tayo is also the National President of the New Zealand Federation Multicultural Councils.
