Welcome! As a Task Group we come together to plan activities, conferences, workshops and retreats for the South Carolina United Methodist Conference. It is our desire that all Christians grow in faith through spiritual formation. We believe being at one with Christ through practices of Bible reading, devotion, prayer, and simplicity will produce a greater degree of spiritual maturity. Developing in Christian discipleship is a goal we strive to reach and teach. If you are interested in drawing closer to Christ, in slowing down your busy life, in having a life with purpose, then browse through our site. Our goal is to give you a taste of each spiritual practice and then point you to resources to take you further on your journey. Our site is under construction. Check back often.

"The detachment from the confusion all around us is in order to have a richer attachment to God. Christian meditation leads us to the inner wholeness necessary to give ourselves to God freely."
------- Richard Foster, *Celebration Of Discipline*
