About Us

You may have arrived at our site because you want to learn more about fetal surgery for spina bifida and if it is right for your baby.  Click RESOURCES in the navigation ribbon to find sites we have found helpful.

We are not compensated in any way to maintain this site.  We just do it because we saw a need.  We wanted parents undergoing fetal surgery for spina bifida to have more supports than we did when we went through.  We wanted to build and grow the community of fetal surgery families so our kids grow up knowing they are not alone in their experience.  We wanted to strengthen our network when we, ourselves, needed to reach out to other parents for support.

Finally, and most importantly, we wanted to make friends...the kind of friends you can turn to for anything...the kind of friends who understand what you're going through without the backstory...who've been there for the ride and will listen when you need to vent your struggles.

Our fetal surgery for spina bifida community numbers in the hundreds (and growing). For starters, meet just four of our children (at right). We look forward to meeting your family as well!
