Public Forum


Public Forum debate is the debate most focused on presentation and public speaking. Debaters prepare affirmative and negative cases to a resolution, then debate them in front of judges drawn from the community, allowing these debaters to become versatile and persuasive speakers. The Public Forum topic changes each month, which enables debaters to build a familiarity with a broad variety of topics that are politically important and contentious and research skills covering a broad area.
