Lincoln Douglas


Lincoln–Douglas debate (commonly abbreviated as LD) is a form of one-on-one debate. LD typically places heavy emphasis on logic, ethical values, and philosophy. Students participating in this event debate the topic released by the National Forensic League every two months and prepare/practice speeches and rebuttals before tournaments.
