Video Demonstrations

Video demonstration of the SpeDial platform

01 opening a spdxml file

The user can select the file to load using "Browse". Also, previously loaded files can be selected from the history. Tags, statistics and dialogue navigation are automatically configured.

02 dialogue data tables

Utterance table contains information about individual interactions: transcription, attributes, confidence scores, etc. Utterance set table contains information about dialogues (calls): interaction count, attributes, timing, etc. Each line in the dialogue path table represents a group of dialogues that have traversed the same series of states in the application. Each element in the dialogue state table represents a group of interactions that are considered to be in the same application state. All tables share common functionalities such as creating tags and partitions, filtering, creating charts and sorting.

03 dialogue views

Additional data can be visualized based on current selection. Selecting an Utterance Set will update the Utterance Set Attributes view. The Original Recognition Result view containing ASR related information including recognized text, confidence score, semantics, and errors calculated by comparing the recognition result with the transcription. The Reference view is also updated, displaying the transcription and the associated semantics. Selecting an Utterance Set will update the Utterance Set Attributes view. Selecting a Dialogue Path or a Dialogue State will update its linked statistics view. Statistics are pre-configured when opening a SPDXml file and can be selected in the view. Statistics can be visualized in tabular format or using a pie chart. Selecting more than one element will allow viewing the combined statistics of each element.

04 dialogue navigation

States can be expanded/collapsed with a double click. Dialogues can be zoomed using Ctrl-= and Ctrl-+. Nodes can also be removed by selecting them and pressing Delete. Double clicking while holding Ctrl will expand a single path. Statistics views are updated when selecting states.

05 dialogue state grouping

Dialogues can be simplified by grouping states together. Consecutive states can be graphically grouped. Dialogue state grouping affects the dialogue navigator, as well as the Dialogue States and Dialogue Path tables. The dialogue state grouping configuration can be visualized and edited. New dialogue state groups can also be created.
