Project Description:
We have been working at the library site for over fourteen years. We have restored the lower creek bank and upper terrace.

We have planted native plant demonstration gardens in the front and the back of the library, and installed four interpretive signs.

We worked with a community artist and students from Richmond High School to paint a public mural with an environmental message on the Friends of the Library building in Spring 2010.
We are now in the maintenance phase of this project and hold occasional workdays to care for the site. We also adopted the Children’s Reading Garden, and we have installed new plants and cared for this special park as well.
