Poutine

4 servings of cooked fries (I used the prepared kind you bake in the oven)

Salt

2 packages brown gravy mix

1 1/2 cups cold water

1/2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce

2 cups fresh cheese curds*


Prepare fries to your liking and immediately season with salt.


Meanwhile, add both packages of gravy mix to a small saucepan. Whisk in water and worshestershire sauce.  Bring to a boil over medium-high heat while continually whisking. Once mixture reaches a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.


Plate hot fries then top with cheese curds. Ladle gravy evenly over curds and fries and serve immediately.


*I can’t get fresh cheese curd in my neck of the woods so I use unsmoked provolone or mozzarella cheese, diced into small chunks
