World’s largest low carrier airline, Southwest Airlines is a major US airline and the airline’s headquarter is at Dallas in Texas. Currently the airline has around 46,000 employees and operates more than 3,400 flights per day. How to Check-in at Southwest Airlines?

Passengers travelling on Southwest Airlines can check-in at the counter or opt for online check-in option. Online check-in can be done 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. Boarding pass can be collected from the Skycap Podium, ticket counter, or self-service kiosk at the airport. For airport check-in, guests should arrive 2 hours prior to the schedule departure (especially in case of an itinerary that includes at least one international flight) and counter closes 60 minutes before the departure time.

Overweight items from 51 to 100 pounds and oversized items in excess of 62 inches but not more than 80 inches will be accepted for an overweight and oversize baggage fee of $75 per item. What is the Booking Fee?

Cancellation too can be made easily and the airline does not charge anything for the same. In case of upgraded boarding $40 per passenger is levied. For unaccompanied minor, $50 is charged.
