Player Interest Survey

In order to determine our level of participation in the Oregon High School Water Polo 2020-21 season of April 5 - May 23, 2021 we need to determine the level of participation. We are asking ALL players to complete this survey even if you will be unable to play. This survey is VERY short and shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.

South Salem Saxon Board

Fall Polo Opportunity

Willamette Valley Water Polo will be starting fall polo on September 19th open to all ages at the Albany pool 10 am to 12 pm.

With the postponement of the high school polo season there is a need for the kids to get in some much need physical activities as well as some mental relief. Practices will be managed under all current guidelines of the State of Oregon, Albany Pool and the CDC so as to maintain a safe and fun place for the kids to come each Saturday. These practices will focus on fundamentals, which EVERY player needs to work on, thus providing a solid base that is sometimes hard to build even in a normal high school season.

Cost: Free to all current WVA members; for non-members wishing to get a little pool time or preparation for the “spring” High school season a $25.00 per month fee will be assessed. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me

Player Registration Process

Player registration is a 2-part process.

Part 1: Online registration. This is a Google Form that is to be completed prior to beginning any practices (including optional practices beginning TBD). >>> Online Registration <<<

Part 2: Registration packet. This packet includes a registration checklist, sports physical form (required every 2 years) and concussion information. This packet is due by the first night of the official start of the season (TBD).

Annual Saxon October Tournament

Our annual October tournament is tentatively scheduled for October 16 - 18, 2020. As more details are determined in regards to what the season will look like more information will be provided. Registration will open AFTER a determination of the season takes place. For more information, visit the tournament web page.

TeamApp is how we, as a club, communicate on a regular basis. If you have not yet signed up for TeamApp, please do so.

When signing up, select the appropriate group (there is now an alumni section as well).

Throughout the season there is a need for volunteers. At all of our home games we need at least 3 people to work the table (no table workers - no game). There will be a training event at one of our early season practices and opportunites for training throughout the season. There are also other opportunities throughout the season at various events. If you are interested in helping out, please speak to one of our board members and we can get you taken care of. Volunteering is a GREAT way to help to provide a positive experience for all of our players.

Not Yet a High School Player...

If you are not yet a high school player, there are area water polo clubs that run spring and fall leagues. Many of our players participate in club polo as a way to enhance their skills.
