NEWS 2020 corona virus outbreak

Having listened to the Ministerial Broadcast we are now in a position to commence our League Bowling Programme  on the 21st June. All teams have been supplied with Fixture Lists.  Results should be forwarded to me either by email or post as soon as possible after the match has been completed

Unfortunately it will not be possible for the majority  of Clubs to offer hospitality and iti is
suggested that away teams bring their own refreshments. Those that do please ensure that no litter is left behind.
I hope you all have an enjoyable season and the weather is kind to us

Peter Dunne

Please note OUR LADY'S "B" team have withdrawn from the league Division 3. I have contacted all Captains by telephone but would also welcome anyone spreading the word so that people do not travel to OUR LADYS and have a wasted journey.

AS THERE IS NO PROMOTION OR RELEGATION THIS SEASON I PROPOSE THE FOLLOWING PROVIDING BOTH CAPTAINS AGREE

FURTHER TO THE ABOVE I HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT A SMALL MINORITY OF CLUBS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIELD 10 PLAYERS FOR EVERY MATCH.
TWO PLAYERS MAY PLAY TWICE. IF THIS DOES NOT RESOLVE THE MATTER THE TEAM WITH 10 PLAYERS WILL BE AWARDED THE POINTS. IF CAPTAINS CANNOT AGREE THE
EXTRA PAIRING THE NAMES SHOULD BE DRAWN OUT OF A HAT
This is only a temporary solution and the matter can be discussed in more detail at the
A.G.M. in November.
If you have read this page will you please refer it to any of your colleagues you may come into contact with

Parking Formby Village M.B.C (FORMERLY HOLY Trinity)
The car park at this venue has been completely re-surfaced and members of away teams are welcome
to park there completely free of charge on match days. The only rule is that players must register their car registration within twenty minutes of arrival. The registration point is situated in the main bowls  pavilion. Failure to comply will result in a £100 fine
