Branch's Store

This building started out as a general store owned by O.D. Fifield and Juan Robinson. It was built in 1885 by Charles Irish. Johnny Branch has owned it for many years. It has been Branch's General Store, a restaurant called South Wind, Island Real Estate, and an antique shop called Junk and Disorderly, which recently moved next door. In the upstairs are apartments. The second floor was a concert hall at one time. I want to thank Hazel Quelch for helping me. By Kayla Prouty (June 2012)
