Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

INGREDIENTS:

Cake:
1 package yellow cake mix
1 egg
8 tbsps butter, melted

Filling:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
8 tbsps butter, melted
1 16-ounce box powdered sugar (3.75 cups)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 X 13 inch pan.

Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter; mix well.  Pat the mixture into the bottom of baking pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.  Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter and beat together. 

Add the powdered sugar; mix well.  Spread over the cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, depending on your oven.

Do not over-bake, the center should be gooey.
