A study-workshop day on chant for St Dunstan from the 13th century Worcester Antiphonal
with Philip Duffy (
Schola Gregoriana of Cambridge)

Philip Duffy, an alumnus of the late Dr Mary Berry, comes with a wealth of experience to guide us through this day of chant. It includes a talk by Rev. Michael Reeve about St Dunstan’s life and later on a short talk on the music and texts. The rest of the time we will sing this ancient music written in honour of St. Dunstan. Beginners and confident singers all welcome.

Doors open 9.45         
COST: CGMS Members: FREE, Non-members: £10, Students: £5
The cost includes coffee/tea and all music and handouts. Bring packed lunch or visit local cafes and shops in the city centre, 2 minutes’ walk away.

Viol and lute concert in Chichester
Alison Crum and Roy Marks. 
Under the title of "A Spagna in the Works" they will be playing 16th century dances, divisions, and instrumental settings on a variety of early viols and lutes - "renaissance miniature masterpieces".
