Faith, Friends and Fitness

During warmer weather every other Saturday we meet  at 9:00 AM and enjoy a spiritual message and walk, talk and exercise for an hour or so. Watch the website welcome page for where we  will meet each time and Facebook for possible cancelations due to weather. 

The sites vary and include :

Pond Meadow Park in Braintree 

There is a parking lot off Liberty street opposite Zanka Drive. We walk about 1-1/4 miles through the woods and around the pond.

Webb Memorial Park in Weymouth. 

At the end of River Street there are two parking areas and the trail loops about 1 mile... .great views of Boston harbor...   We will meet near the  edge of the western parking area .. see link blow for directions.

D W Field Park in Brockton

There is a small parking lot on D. W. Field Parkway East near 331 Oak St, Brockton, MA . It is about 8 miles from the church and a 20 minute ride up Washington Street into Holbrook to Brockton. 

The crown jewel of Brockton’s green space, D.W. Field Park is 756-acres and located on Oak Street . the park is on the Stoughton Town line.

Designed in 1925, the park's winding roads and paths allow visitors to take in the idyllic waterways and lush vegetation encompassing the seven-mile stretch of land. 

The park is named after Brockton merchant, farmer, and shoemaker, Daniel Waldo Field, who donated the land to the city to be used as open space.
