Who We Are


South Bay AORN is a chapter of the parent organization The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).  We are located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Bay,_Los_Angeles


Meetings are open to all RNs, CSTs, and anyone who's interested in the topic.  


South Bay chapter 0523 established April 18, 1972 - we're almost 46 years old!

"Endoscopic Vein Harvesting"

This continuing education activity will provide perioperative nurses with information on Endoscopic Vein Harvesting and its advantages for patients and providers. This technique will be discussed along with products used for this minimally invasive approach of harvesting the saphenous vein for use in cardiac and peripheral vascular surgeries.

Attendees will receive 1 hour of Nursing Continuing Education Credit on completion of the program
