South Alberta Light Horse supported cadet corps

A long serving tradition in the Canadian Army is to have Regular and Reserve Units support the Cadet organization.

As "Alberta's Regiment", the South Alberta Light Horse supports a large number of corps from across the entire Province. The SALH provides support in many forms including: 
  • instructors on specialty subjects;
  • equipment support;
  • training opportunities; and
  • teaching cadets the history and traditions of the Canadian Army, specifically as it pertains to the South Alberta Light Horse and its predecessor regiments
