Subwoofer

This subwoofer is intended to resonate at 37.3Hz, but I didn't estimate volume filled by wood in the inside so finally it resonates a bit higher. It sound quite good anyway.
The attached file .scad is a 3D model for openscad. It's plain text so you can read it with a plain text editor to get measures and/or positions.
The subwoofer one 10" 450W "innovate universal" (found it for ~15€ in car parts store). Other subwoofer speaker may be used.



  


Matherials:

Sizes are in mm, made in 16mm Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and 6mm glass for one side.

  • Left side (232 x 654)
  • Right side: thick glass (6 x 232 x 670)
  • Left bottom reinforcement (216 x 30)
  • Top (36 x 232)
  • Bottom (300 x 216)
  • Back (300 x 654)
  • Labyrinth (each shelve 300 x 170)
  • Vertical shelve (300 x 270)
  • Front (300 x 592)
The vent is a rectangular tube of 200x30mm area and 1670mm length
