Tuition

Student commitment to Sound Company is for a full school year (usually August - May). Tuition is paid for the full year in the fall. Please contact the treasurer if special arrangements need to be made. No refunds will be given if a student withdraws.

Tuition for the 2017-2018 Sound Company season is:
  • Sound Company Too!: $350 for first child for the whole season
  • Juniors, ETC, Seniors: $400 for first child for the whole season
For each additional child in Sound Company, please discount tuition $20. For example, if you have two children in Sound Company, one in Toos and one in ETC, your tuition for the year would be $350 + $380 = $730; two older children would be $400 + $380 = $780. 

Tuition is due no later than the one month after rehearsals begins for the season. If you set up automatic monthly payments through PayPal, your first payment must be made no later than the one month after rehearsals begins for the season. If tuition is not paid by this time, performers will not be allowed to participate in rehearsals or concerts.

Refund Policy

  • Sound Company does not refund tuition payments if a child withdraws from Sound Company.

Payment Options:
  • Tuition can be paid online through PayPal or Remind using the links below. (You may have to set up a PayPay account to utilize PayPal. If you already have a PayPal account, you may use your existing account. Remind is also secure, using Stripe, and does not require setting up an account. Remind, through Stripe, does add a 2.9% + 30 cent transaction fee.)
    • Choose to pay your tuition at once.
    • Choose a monthly payment plan (Subscribe button) - PayPal option only. This will authorize 4 equal monthly payments.
    • Note: If you have multiple children in Sound Company, you are eligible to receive a $20 discount on the tuition after the first child - please use the appropriate option below. If you have more than 2 children or have Scrip discounts applied to your tuition, please contact the treasurer to make special arrangements or pay by cash or check.
  • Tuition can be paid using PayPal via a credit card swipe. This can be done by the treasurer at the beginning of rehearsals.
  • Tuition can be mailed to Sound Company, P.O. Box 6846, Oak Ridge, TN 37831. Please put your child's name and group on your check, cashier's check, or money order.

Online payment
  • Online payment of Sound Company Tuition can be made through Remind or PayPal by using the links and menus below. Both options are secure.
  • If using PayPal, you can add multiple items prior to checkout.  Select your options and click Add to Cart, then repeat for the different items.  You can preview and edit your cart prior to final checkout.
