About Me

I am currently a postdoctoral scholar at in the mHealth security and privacy group at Dartmouth College. I am involved in the THaW project.

I completed my Ph.D. from the School of Information Systems(SIS) at Singapore Management University (SMU), where I was 
supervised by Prof Archan Misra and Prof Rajesh Balan

Prior to joining SMU, I was working in the Information Technology (IT) sector for more than six years. My previous job experience (which was my first) was with Infosys Ltd where I worked from 2005 to 2011. I was in the research and development unit of Infosys (Infy Labs, previously SETLabs). On a personal front, I was born in Kolkata; brought up in Shillong. I enjoy travelling, watching movies, collecting stamps and fridge magnets. I am a Team India(cricket) and a Manchester United(football) fan. I love driving aimlessly.

  • Mar 2018 - Our paper titled "Annapurna: Building a Real-World Smartwatch-based Automated Food Journal" has been accepted and will appear in the proceedings of WoWMoM 2018.
  • Mar 2018 - Presented my work related to eating gesture monitoring at CTBH. The slide deck can be accessed here. 
  • Dec 2017 - I have joined Dartmouth College as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Prof David F. Kotz's group.
  • Nov 2017 - Our paper titled "Smart Monitoring via Participatory BLE Relaying" has been accepted and will appear in the proceedings of Comsnets 2018.
