Sotiris K. Staikouras serves as Associate Professor in Banking & Finance at the Bayes Business School, City, University of London. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with major in Accounting & Finance (distinction), from the University of Piraeus in Greece; an MSc degree in Business Finance from Brunel University in London; and a PhD degree in Finance from City University Business School (CUBS) in London. His broad areas of research are banking & financial intermediation, capital markets, economic crises and financial modelling. His research has been presented in international conferences, covered by the media and published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
