Violet Richardson Award

The Violet Richardson Award recognizes and honors young women between the ages of 14 and 17 who make the community and world a better place through volunteer efforts such as: fighting drugs, crime and violence, cleaning up the environment, healthcare volunteering, and working to end discrimination and poverty. Volunteer actions that benefit women or girls are of particular interest. This award is administered by local participating Soroptimist International clubs and is not available in all communities. Soroptimist International Headquarters does not distribute or accept applications.  This award is $500 and we usually have two winners.

See how you can be involved and help with this wonderful organization! We are looking for members that are interesting in expanding their network, looking to help others and that have ideas for community service that can add to our mission!
