Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting


8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

¼ cup unsalted butter or 4 tablespoons, room temperature

3 cups powdered sugar, sifted

½ cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla


In a stand mixer, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.

Slowly add in powdered sugar and cocoa powder.

Add in vanilla.

Makes enough for 24 cupcakes.
