Reflecting

Reflection is the heart and soul of any kind of portfolio, electronic or hardcopy. Reflection provides the rationale for why artifacts in a portfolio represent achievement of a particular outcome, goal or standard.  Reflection is standard for all portfolios.  Blog entries provide an opportunity for reflection "in the present tense" or "reflection in action."   Students:  You will write up a short reflection piece on each learning activity or artifact that you choose to put into the ePortfolio.  This explains to readers why you chose to include that piece and what weekly course learning objective it connects to.  You will post these reflections to your blog in your portfolio.  If you don't know what to reflect on, maybe answer these questions:  "what is the context in which this artifact was developed? What did you learn?"   You can add links to your work (through hyperlinks to text or images) or include the work for evaluators to check out as an attachment to this blog entry.
