Green Fields (festival)

Outdoor festival, along the lines of Reading or, more probably, Glastonbury. Scrooch are not on the bill but turn up anyway, hoping to fill a vacant slot.

Chapter 39

The Bunnies were on the Green Fields Festival bill; Scrooch were there for the ligging – at least that’s how they saw it. Alan Grant had assured them there was always a chance a slot would become available. Perhaps one of the other bands wouldn’t show up or there’d be an unforeseen gap in the schedule. But they’d driven there in Toc’s flivver and as far as Fraser could tell, no one had bothered to transport their backline, hire a soundman and roadies – although Anti had come along for the ride.
