Dianne Baker BSN,RN, Composer 

Clinician / Music and  Health Consultant / Children Author/ Composer/ Photographer


Combining her backgrounds in both nursing and music, Dianne has produced a “music magic” to bridge these two fields. She has 

discovered the power of  music and how it can meet health care and curriculum needs by demonstrating ways to cope with the 

stressors of life. Dianne has worked with both children and adults in hospitals, schools, senior centers, special education classes as

well as Very Special Arts Festivals across the U.S.A. 


Experience and Accomplishments


University Of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital: Child and Family Life Department. Developed and implemented music and health 

programs for patients, families, and staff. This work inspired Dianne’s CD “Sharing the Journey”


Senior Center Director: 13 years of experience, creating wellness programs. Currently conducting “Music and Health” 
programs at the University of Michigan Turner Senior Resource Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan


Artist in Residence: helping students combine creative writing, history, and music across 
Michigan and other states Clinician and Workshop Presenter: “Music for the Health of It” 
for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and general public


Performer: Music programs at schools, hospitals, churches, book stores, and libraries


Producer: recording artist, publisher of music books, plays and special compositions such as 
“Red, White, and Blue-Fly’Em Proud, Fly’Em High”, performed by the U.S. Coast Guard Band.
Available Now a New Full Concert Band Arrangement with Chorus, 
arranged by Lewis J. Buckley, Past Director of the U.S. Coast Guard Band.
