Practical:
1. To verify the law of Malus for plane polarized light.
2. To analyze elliptically polarized light by using Babinet's compensator.
3. To study the phenomenon of double refraction using double image prism and to determine the type of crystal (positive or negative).
4. To verify Stefan’s law and to determine Stefan’s constant by electrical method.
5. To determine the refractive Index of (1) glass and (2) a liquid by total internal reflection using a Gaussian eyepiece.
6. To determine the Boltzmann constant using V-I characteristics of PN junction diode.
7. Verification of Cauchy's relation by plotting a dispersion curve using a Prism Spectrometer.
8. Verification of Brewster’s law and finding of the Brewster’s angle.
