  • Our research focuses on nanoscale materials and phenomena, impacting diverse areas of science and technology ranging from biomedicine to alternative energy. 
  • We use concepts and tools in biology to organize nanoparticles into mesoscale or macroscale assemblies with controllable architecture and properties.
  • Our primary interest in this effort is to understand collective properties of nanomaterials and to learn how to manipulate materials properties through self-assembly.
