Jonas Manibusan Barcinas is a Principal for the CNMI Public School System, namely Hopwood Jr. High School, which has population of 1200 students.  He received his BAED in Elementary Education with a minor in Social Studies from the University of Guam.  He also completed 28 credits in the MAEd Program in Counseling at UOG.  He received his MAEd in Educational Leadership & Supervision from San Diego State University, and is currently pursuing his doctorate degree with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, Hawaii.

Lois Taitano Gumataotao serves as the Vice-President for the SOE Alumni Association.  She resides in the village of Agana Heights  and is currently an ESL Teacher/Coordinator at LBJ Elementary School, alongside Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera.  She received her BAED in Elementary Education from the University of Guam and M.Ed. in Language Studies from Canterbury University.  Lois has two children, Robert-34 yrs. old and Larissa-30 yrs. old and a proud grandmother of five:  Tabitha, Rochelle, Isaac, Robert, and Zion, 13, 13, 10, 6 and 3 yrs. old respectively.

 Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera  -  

Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera is an Assistant Professor for the Department of English and Applied Linguistics at the University of Guam's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.  She is the former Vice President of the UOG Alumni Association, Past President for the SOE Alumni Association, and Former Advisor for the ACEI student organization.  She previously served as the TESOL Program Chair for UOG's School of Education (SOE).  She is an adjunct for the TESOL, Reading, and Instructional Programs at SOE.  She served as an ESL Teacher/Coordinator with the Guam Department of Education for 15 years.  She is a Guam International Reading Association (IRA) Board Member, as well as the webmaster for Guam IRA, Pacific Islands Bilingual Bicultural Association (PIBBA), Ginen I Hila Maga'Taotao Siha Association, Guam Nikkei Association, and Palau Language Commission.  She also serves as an adjunct professor for the English Department at the Guam Community College.

Dr. Salas received her BA and MEd from the University of Guam and obtained her PhD in Reading from the University of Arizona.  She is a retired Associate Professor from UOG's Richard F. Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center (MARC).

Anthony San Nicolas received his BAED in Counseling from the University of Guam.  He graduated with a Masters in Business Administration.


San Nicolas, Brigida (Rivera)

Brigida San Nicolas is a 1972 UOG graduate.  She received her Master's in Special Education in 1974 from Lewis and Clark College, Milwaukie, Oregon.


Dr. Gregg C. San Nicolas -

Dr. San Nicolas received his B.A. in Elementary Education and Special Education in 1976 from the University of Guam.  He moved on to complete his Masters and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh.  He has made major contributions to Guam's education community.

Doris San Nicolas received her BAED in Special Education in 1982 from the University of Guam.  She received her Masters in Education from the University of Portland, Oregon.
