Nikola Tesla - The man who invented the 20th century.
Nikola Tesla's life is highly inspiring for every engineer and his biography has been nicely articulated by Sean Patrick in his book titled "Nikola Tesla: Imagination and the Man That Invented the 20th Century ". I am a big fan of his sheer dedication towards work. He sacrificed every pleasure that came his way and his disciplined life will be a motivating example for many generations to come. His contribution to modern day science is immense and I believe that the world hasn't seen a greater engineer than him.
Steve Jobs - Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.
His biography written by Walter Isaacson is a book worth reading. In a commencement speech at the Stanford University, the apple co-founder famously said - "Life will hit you with a brick on the head - Don't lose faith". After being removed from his own company, he went on to create two other companies - NeXT and Pixar and later restored his position in Apple. His life epitomizes perfection and self-confidence. The world hasn't seen a greater entrepreneur than him.
