GOD says: "To every people (was sent) an apostle: when their apostle
comes (before them), the matter will be judged between them
 with justice,and they will
not be wronged" [Quran 10:47]

Socrates [469 BC- 399 BC]
Socrates [469 BC- 399 BC] was a prophet of Islam sent by Allah Jalla Aala to Greek People & in same era, Buddha [In Quran Dul-Kifl] was Prophet of Islam sent to Indian People. Noble Quran says: "Allah has sent Prophets to all nations".

Socrates taught truth to Greek youth. King thought, that teachings of Socrates could create trouble for his GOV. There was then a case against him in Court. Court warned him either stop preaching your truth to youth or accept death penalty. He, Socrates, the king of Truth-Sayer martyrs refused to stop his truthful teaching and accepted only the left 2nd choice that was death penalty. In those days, for death penalty, one had to drink bowl of poison. He accepted the bowl of poison & drank it like nectar and died.
