Sociology is the study of human behavior using scientific methods and theories.  Sociology acknowledges and emphasizes the important role of institutions, power, economics, meaning, culture and group dynamics.

We offer degree programs in Sociology (B.A. or B.S.) and in Criminology (B.S.), and contribute to the minors in Social Work, Media & Communications, Pre-Law, Public Policy and Global Studies.
