Currently, I am a graduate student in College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at University of Massachusetts Amherst. I work with Prof. Benjamin Marlin in machine learning.

I completed my Bachelors (Hons.) and Masters under the Dual Degree program in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and was awarded the prestigious Institute Silver Medal (summa cum laude) along with the Best Project Award for my Master's thesis.  My Bachelor's and Master's thesis focused on developing accurate non-invasive blood pressure monitoring device. More details can be found hereAfter graduation, I worked as Test Engineer at  Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in Hsinchu, Taiwan for a year.

I come from a small city of Uttar Pradesh (India) - Ballia whose eastern boundary lies at the junction of two major rivers, the Ganges and the Ghaghara. Due to its significant contribution to the Indian independence movement, it is also known as Bagi Ballia (Rebel Ballia).
