Keith Poore

 Dale Ramsey

  • 30 years of Ski/Race & Instruction (29 years at Level III/Full Cert and Level 1 Coaching Cert)
  • Telemark Certified
  • Headed up the starting of two different Ski Racing Teams.

      • Helped with initial ideas and directed start up
      • Assumed position of head coach and coaching trainer

Bob Terpening

 
     
  • 12 years as a ski instructor
    • PSIA Level I for 8 years
  • Looking forward to coaching the Snowshoe Ski Team
Kevin Schatz
 
  • Born and raised in Denver Colorado and raced as a junior on the Vail Ski Team.
  • After receiving undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder he moved to New England where he led luxury bicycle tours all along the east coast. 
  • While working for Vermont Bicycle Tours he relocated to Virginia and met his wife, Juliana.  After earning his Masters in Education at VCU he has been working as an elementary school teacher in Henrico County, Virginia for the last fifteen years. 
  • Recently, he took a position as an Associate Principal at his elementary school. His two kids, Walker and Mckinley, joined the ski team last year and he has worked for Snowshoe as a ski instructor. 
  • This season he is looking forward to switching gears and bringing his life long passion for skiing and dedication to developing young skiers on the Snowshoe Ski Team. 

    Jan Ramsey

    • Has been teaching for 25 years.
    • PSIA Level 3 Certified Ski Instructor
    • Taught at Wachusett Mtn in Massachusetts, Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire & Whitetail Mountain in Pennsylvania prior to joining the Ski School at Snowshoe Mountain.
    • Was a staff trainer at Whitetail and ran many hiring clinics at both Whitetail and Snowshoe.
    • Awarded the "Most Professional Ski Instructor" Award at Snowshoe in 2002.
                                  

     Allen Walker
    • Was introducted to skiing at age 4.
    • PSIA member for 15 years
    • .Attained both Level 2 Alpine and Level I Telemark (Nordic) skiing certifications
    • Worked at Snowshoe as a part time Ski Instructor since 1996.  Has taught children and adults at all ski levels.
    • Runs a marketing business in Salem, Virginia when not teaching skiing.  
    • Married with 2 children, Sam 10 and Ella 7, who are both active Alpine skiers.
    • Very much looking forward to being a coach for the snowshoe race team this winter
