It is finally beginning to look like winter around here, hopefully the cold weather remains. Lots of water holes out on the trails, so be careful if you go out for a ride. NO lakes or ponds are even close to safe, and many just locked in the last couple of days. Many members of the club have been helping with some trail re route issues the past few weeks, and we hope to have those trails signed and open by this weekend. With some more cold to freeze up the water bars, and another dumping of snow we hope to get out with the groomers. Please swing by and join us at the next club meeting!
Hi All - The entire Gray trail system is currently closed to all traffic. Hopefully we can get a good cold snap to start locking in water holes, and firm up the trail base. We continue to work on the trails for the upcoming season. If you can lend a hand, please reach out, we are always looking for new members! Our next meeting is on Tue 1/12, 7pm at the State Police barracks on Rt.26.
Our next trail work party is Sunday Dec 13th. We'll meet at 8:30, call or email Brad if you can help. 428-3308.
Please support your local club and swing by our trail work party this coming Sunday, Nov 1st, meeting at Crystal lake public beach parking lot at 9am. Rerouting the trail from high school to Crystal lake. We'll be brushing new trail, signing, building a new bridge, etc.
Our next meeting for the '15-16 season is on Tuesday November 10th, 7pm at the State Police Barracks on Rt.26.
Our next meeting for the '15-16 season is on Tuesday October 13th, 7pm at the State Police Barracks on Rt.26.
Our first meeting for the '15-16 season is on Tuesday September 8th, 7pm at the State Police Barracks on Rt.26.
The Gray trail system is now closed for the season to all traffic. Please respect the landowners and stay off the trails until May 15th, when they will reopen to ATV traffic in designated areas. Thanks to all that helped make keep the trails in great shape this winter!
Spring conditions are upon us. With warm days and cold nights the trails should be rideable for another couple weeks, however keep an eye out for rocks/stumps, etc. that have been hidden all winter under the snowpack. Please be careful if you go out on the lakes as any areas with current are beginning to open up. Grooming operations are currently on hold as the base is rock solid, however if we receive more snow we may get out again. Thanks to the volunteers that helped keep the entire trail system open this year as well as all of our landowners!
