The southwest part of Snipe Lake has a number of submerged or partially submerged rocks and bolders. One is as large as a Volkswagen Beetle. A marker buoy that used to identify this area is gone. The Snipe Lake Association Board is looking into replacing this buoy and others around the lake.
PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS when boating in this area and give your water crafts significant distance from the rocks.
