RUF, Gary "Woof" Wayne
Left us to walk in the green pastures of the Lord on March 27, 2012, at age 51. He left behind his family, friends and hopes for a better future for all of us. He is survived by his significant other, Bobbi Ruf, and his "pup pups", Auggie and Scottie. He is also survived by his loving family: father, Richard (Dick), mother, Bonnie (Walsh) Ruf, his eldest brother, Dickie, nieces, Shannon (Kenny) and Heather (Andre) and nephew, Brandon (Marissa); second oldest brother, Bob (Teresa) and nephew, Bobby (Michelle) and niece, Leeah Ruf; and his youngest brother, Mike. He is also survived by his best friend, Brett "Bob" Lear and little Abbey. Surviving Gary on his fathers side are his aunts and uncles: Butch (Joyce), Jim (Brenda) Larry (Gayle), Charlie (Paula), Viola, Fern, Sue, Karen (Linville), Rose (Jerry), Elinora (Gene), Donna Jean. His aunts and uncles surviving him on his mother's side are Harry Walsh, Margie (Lew), Rita (Gene), Marian, and Leonard. He had tons of cousins on both sides of the family.
Those going to the Lord before Gary were his uncle Gene Walsh, and his aunts Millie and Anna, and his very good friend, Leroy Tyree. Gary loved everyone and was known by many as a phenomenal pool player and an excellent chess player.
Gary was a talented artist who loved doing jigsaw puzzles, gardening and cooking for his friends and family. He also loved reading and collecting National Geographic Magazines, as well as writing poetry and stories.
He will be very much missed by his many, many friends and family.
